The item is very pretty but not big enough or shaped well enough, as every time I try and pull out a tissue, the top almost goes flying or just comes off. I followed your directions. It's a shame because I had hoped on buying one for each room in my house.

We appreciate your review and are sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the lid lifting when removing a tissue. This can occasionally happen depending on the type and thickness of the tissues being used.
As a designer, my goal was to create a vessel that was small enough to be a beautiful decorative piece in your home, while still being able to accommodate a standard box of tissues. Because tissue brands and styles vary in thickness and fullness, some boxes may fit more snugly than others when first opened.
If you find that a full box is creating too much pressure on the lid, we recommend removing a small stack of tissues and saving them in a bag to add back as the vessel empties. You can also easily split one box between two vessels.
